Located along the Murrumbidgee River and Muniong, Honeysuckle, Kimo, Mooney Mooney, Murrumbidgee and Tumut mountain ranges, Gundagai is 390 kilometres (240 mi) south-west of Sydney.

You are invited to be part of the ‘Battle on the Bidgee Stockman’s Challenge’, 6th, 7th and 8th October 2017 for three exciting days of competition and entertainment!
The first two days of competition consist of the challenge preliminary events; Stock Handling, Packhorse, Whip Crack, Bareback Obstacle, Horseshoeing, Dry Working Pattern and Cross Country. Day three is finals time, Brumby Catch and Poley Buckjump for the top 10 Open competitors, Brumby Catch and Time Trial for top 3 Lady riders and the top 3 Juniors will battle it out in a Time Trial and Steer Ride.
